Unit of postmodernism, classic music, rock and jazz
On December 2, "Naghash" ensemble and the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia will present the world premiere of the new orchestral version of "Karoti Yerger" within the framework of the 5th Khachaturian International Festival in Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. "Naghash" Ensemble's "Karoti Yerger" combine the spirit of the Armenian folk song, new classical music, modern postmodernism, with the rock and jazz energy. Three brilliant female vocalists and a group of Armenian musician-performers will perform different music instruments. They will perform also the composition by John Hodian. It should be noted that American composer, conductor, pianist John Hodian's music is a combination of Armenian roots and classical compositions and free improvisation.
