Aviation of Armenian Armed Forces marks its 25^th anniversary; it has been formed parallel to the Armenian Army. During today’s event the capabilities of Armed Forces’ aviation equipment were displayed. Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan took part in the event. “Day of establishment of Armenian military aviation has its special and honorary place on military calendar. It is a unique day to look back, reassess the route of aviation during war days, highlight achievements and set new benchmark for gaining more remarkable achievements,” noted the Minister. According to his words, Military Aviation University after Marshal Armenak Khanperyants, feeder vein of military aviation, was established thanks to many devotees. “Today flag of military aviation is at hands of the youth. The university can be considered a research university. The equipment designed and created at this university replenish the needs of our air forces,” added the Minister.
