If there is a vaccine against coronavirus, what percentage of Armenians will be vaccinated? - research done by Breavis

In the framework of the "emergency" research conducted by Brevis in May 2020, we tried to understand the approaches and expectations of Armenians in connection with the creation of a vaccine against the new coronavirus.

Nearly half of the respondents, 44%, considered it possible that the vaccine would be created as early as this year, about 16% indicated 2021 as a probable term for vaccine creation, and more than 10% said that the vaccine would be available after 2021. There are also pessimists (9%) who consider the creation of a vaccine is impossible.

If there is a vaccine, 32% of respondents will go for vaccination. The number of those who consider it possible that they will be vaccinated is slightly higher - 36%.

The survey was conducted on May 15-25 this year in Yerevan and 10 regions of Armenia through telephone among 1,620 residents.

Part of the research was dedicated to the expectations of our citizens, depending on the prevention of the new coronavirus in Armenia and in the world.
