The names of participants of "Eurovision 2010" will be kept confidential until February 1. As adviser on special projects of Public Television's executive director Diana Mnatsakanyan told "A1+", applications are coming in, but the singers' names are kept confidential due to contest rules.

Diana Mnatsakanyan mentioned that the singers can personally inform the media about their participation, but Public Television will make an official announcement only after February 1.

Let us remind that the pre-selection stage will run in Yerevan through February 10, 2010 with 10 best songs to be presented on public television from February 10-15. Viewers and jury members will have 50-50 vote.

Singer Andre represented Armenia at "Eurovision 2006" for the first time and was in 8th place. Singer Hayko was also in 8th, while Sirusho was in 4th place with her song "Kele, Kele" at Eurovision 2008. Last year, the sisters Arshakyan were in 10th place and the winner of "Eurovision 2009" was Norwegian singer Alexander Ribak.

There will be representatives from 39 countries participating in "Eurovision 2010" to be held in the Norwegian capital of Oslo and there are rumors flying around that singers Emmy and Razmik Amyan will apply to participate.
