“STUDY, STUDY, STUDY”: LENIN’S SLOGAN IS STILL ACTUAL
Support A1+!Today in Tekeyan center the official registration of the organization “Education of Adults During their Whole life” took place. Since 2003 it existed without registration.
“Today there are many adults who have higher education but are not able to find jobs. Naturally, they must be given a new specialty which may not be that of a University but may help them to find a job”, said member of the NGO “Education of Adults During their Whole life” Hrachya Hakobjanyan.
The organization the members of which are representatives of state, private and non-governmental organizations sees its aim in reducing illiteracy, as well as securing education for adults according to their public, special, cultural and social demands. “The educational programs correspond to today’s criteria, and it is done for the purpose of finding jobs for adults”, Hakobjanyan says.
According to the latter the NGO cooperates with the job agencies and centers and employers. “5% of the adults included in our program have already found jobs with their help”, head of the organization Arevik Sargsyan claims.
