Municipality: There is no disagreement between Yerevan Mayor and Demirchyan family
Yerevan Municipality has rejected press reports about an alleged disagreement between the city authorities and the family of Armenian statesman Karen Demirchyan over the inauguration of a statue to the great politician. “We officially inform everyone that the Municipality has not decided yet the date of inauguration. The issue has not even been discussed with Karen Demirchyan’s family members. Moreover, we would like to inform everyone that the Yerevan Mayor is on good terms with the Demirchyan family and there is no need to look for any discrepancies between the sides,” the Municipality’s Press Service said on February 17.
