In Armavir region Aygevan village all apricot and peach trees were damaged because of frostbite. In the conversation with “A1+” community head Spartak Ekhizyan said that they will examine three days and will clear out the damage, but, “If it was -7, what can be remained?” He noted that the villagers have many loans, they are displeased and confirmed that the harvest was frostbitten. “It isn’t possible to speak with the villagers,- said the village head and added.- People got cold and cultivated for 1000 years and now they have nothing.” Region’s Artamet village head Anahit Davtyan told “A1+”, that apricot gardens of the community were frostbitten entirely, about 6000 ha. Peach and grape were also entirely frostbitten. “Nothing was possible to do. We did everything. We informed the villagers. We even took lucerne seeds, 2000 AMD per kg, and it was also frostbitten. They spent much money on wheat, barley lands. It wasn’t possible, there was wind and heavy snow. At night of 29-30 the situation was awful,”- said Anahit Davtyan. He noted that all the villagers have loans, they spent much money on garden cultivation works, paying the workers 5000 AMD daily and now they are desperately waiting for the meeting with representatives of the Government.
