EU candidate status granded to Georgia
Support A1+!EU leaders decided to open accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova. Once the relevant steps set out in the Commission’s recommendations of 8 November 2023 have been taken, they invite the Council to adopt the respective negotiation frameworks.
The leaders also granted candidate status to Georgia, on the understanding that the relevant steps set out in the Commission’s recommendation of 8 November 2023 have been taken.
