Yerevan Botanical Garden being renovated
Support A1+!Renovation works have been going on in Yerevan Botanical Garden for several months now.
With the funding of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the park's eco-educational center will be completely rebuilt, which will soon be equipped with modern solutions, and will provide summer schools and science courses. The central greenhouse will also be partially repaired, broken glass will be replaced with new ones, biotope improvement works will be carried out, narrow paths between the biotopes will be repaired, and branches that obstruct the deep back of trees will be removed.
With the financing of Mikayel and Karen Vardanyan, the irrigation network located in the area of 13 hectares of collectible geographical lands of the park will be reconstructed, which was already old and did not serve its purpose.
