Armenia's national air carrier Armavia today responded to press reports alleging that the company has cancelled and delayed some of its flights. Armavia was said to have delayed Yerevan-Rome, Yerevan-Rostov-on-Don, Yerevan-Tehran and Yerevan- Delhi flights and cancelled Yerevan-Munich-Yerevan and Rome-Yerevan flights.

Armavia press spokesperson Nana Avetisova, said on Wednesday that Yerevan-Munich flights are due to re-launch on April 21, while Yerevan-Rome flight departed on March 30.

"The other flights departed according to the schedule. The Yerevan-Rome flight is delayed because two of our airplanes are under repairs. One airplane is on a business trip to Seychelles, while the other is malfunctioning. Another plane which was undergoing repairs is set to return today. We expect no more delays in flights," Nana Avetisova said in a statement.

According to the website of Zvartnots airport (zvartnots.am), the national carrier has cancelled flights to Munich, Amman and Moscow.
