Yerevan hosts exhibition of paper figures
Heroes of t famous fairy tales today "were roaming" in the "Academy" exhibition hall.
The hall hosted the second show of sculptor Margaret Tulyan. The visitors were impressed by the whiteness of paper exhibits.
"I often attend exhibitions but this one is unique," said singer Anna Mailiyan.
"This is the first time I have seen paper figures and I am astonished," said visitor Aram Abrahamyan.
Asked why the figures were in white, the young sculptor said: "I did not want to use any colour. I simply wanted to show the play of light and shadow. Sculpture itself has no colour, otherwise it will resemble a doll ".
