Support A1+!The trial “National Committee of TV and Radio against the TV Company Hayreniq” will no more be heard. Let us remind you that the NCTR had fined the TV company for broadcasting the programs of the French TV company “Mezzo” without a copyright.
By the decision of the NCTR, “Hayreniq” was to pay 2 million 600 thousand drams. The payment was not carried out in the decided period of time, and Grigor Amalyan, head of the Committee had applied to court to confiscate the sum.
Hrant Vardanyan, owner of “Hayreniq” had announced by press that he is not going to pay the fine. But contrary to this, as we learned, the TV company has paid the fine, as a result of which the trial in the economical court has been annulled.
The Committee confirmed the information that on March 3 the T company paid the fine and will no longer be tried.
To the question if in case of continuing the unlawful broadcasting of the programs of “Mezzo” “Hayreniq” will be fined again the news service of the Committee said, “The law anticipates such fines”.
Let us also remind you that the Committee head had announced that he will annul his decision if the authorities of the French TV company “Mezzo” give official copyright to “Hayreniq-TV” for broadcasting his programs. The copyright costs about $1000-1500.
