Shant Sargsyan becomes World Chess Champion
Armenian chess player Shant Sargsyan scored 9 points and became world champion by playing with Pavel Tetzlaff in the 11th round of the World Under-16 Championship. Artur Davtyan of the same age group still continues the fight for prize places. Our other chess players are already behind the leaders and have no potentials for medals.
