Today students of Yerevan State University (YSU) walked silently to Yerablur Military Pantheon to pay tribute to their peers. Many of the heroes of the April four-day war were just students. "I volunteered myself to the YSU volunteer squad in order to give our help and support to our homeland. The April war has changed a lot among us, among our peers, among people. I see more interest in our students. At different events, visiting military units, we see that the interest of the students increases, we shoulder the obligation of increasing the number of such events that will contribute to the strengthening of army-society relations," said Liparit Ghazaryan, Chairman of YSU Standing Committee on the Patriotic Spirituality. The pictures of Armenak Urfanyan, Robert Abajyan and Benjamin Eghoyan, the soldiers of April war, are depicted on the walls of the university. Many heroes, having gone through the war, continue their education in the same walls. "I served in Martakert, participated in the four-day war and it's very painful for me to remember those days as I have lost friends there. This is another day that I cannot describe in words. It's a dark page that I do not want to be opened again for the Armenian nation. It has changed in my life: I might think before about just going, serving, fulfilling my duty [to my homeland], but after those four days, I realized that everything is not decide just by serving. If the guys have shed blood for the homeland, then we must fight till the end," said student Tadevos Babelyan. In Yerablur Military Pantheon, other heroes who participated in the four-day war were also waiting for students. They have traditionally been in Yerablur Military Pantheon, from the night of April 1, the night that many people did not see the day of April 2.
