Sasna Dzrer trial: Lawyer asked for data carrier
On Friday, lawyer Tigran Hayrapetyan again refused to have his bag searched by court representatives before the start of the hearing in the case of Jirayr Sefilyan and others. Karen Poladyan, Head of the Judicial Department informed the lawyer that everyone, including prosecutors, must be examined before entering a court building. He added that special devices would be installed in courts to examine the contents of bags. Ara Zohrabyan, Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates, who was listening to the conversation between the lawyer and head of the judicial department, allowed Tigran Hayrapetyan to enter the courtroom without opening his bag. Tigran Hayrapetyan has asked the court for the data carrier of the sitting during which the judge ordered to initiate disciplinary proceedings against him. The lawyer has also asked to adjoin the hearing but the judge has postponed it for an hour.
