Sedrak Saroyan: We can fight against Turkey, but we cannot fight against hail?

Republican lawmaker Sedrak Saroyan today expressed his concerns over the consequences of the recent hailstorm in Etchmiadzin. Addressing his colleagues and cabinet members in the National Assembly, Mr Saroyan said seven villages had been deprived of everything. “Half of the population will undoubtedly move to Russia. We should do something to help them. They cannot event take loans, they do not have guarantors. How it happens that we can fight against Turkey, but we cannot fight against hail," the lawmaker said. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said the government held a consultation on the issue on Tuesday and they would make a corresponding statement in the coming two days.
