Nikol Pashinyan: I cannot prevent a citizen from voting in his bedroom or bathroom (video)
Nikol Pashinyan, one of the three candidates for Yerevan Mayor, has cast his vote at 8/16 Polling Station. Pashinyan came to the polls with his wife and daughters. The candidate from the opposition Yelk alliance announced that ‘Yelk comes [to power] to overcome desperation.’ In reply to a question whether Yelk would be able to change anything in Yerevan if it has few representatives in the next city council, Mr Pashinyan said, “We cannot take few seats, moreover, I do hope that we shall form a majority and have a mayor.” “I cannot prevent a citizen from voting in his bedroom or bathroom, but instead of criticizing such citizens we will fight to bring them to a different ideological field them,” he said.
