A1+ Company has received a letter from the Office of Mihran Poghosyan, a former Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of Armenia, saying that information concerning the activities of the former official will hereinafter be received from them. “As before, we shall inform you about Mihran Poghosyan’s activities, including his alleged offshore accounts," the Office said today. Early in May, Armenia’s Special Investigation Service (SIS) launched a criminal case in connection with the offshore activities of the former who resigned from his post in April following a global scandal dubbed ‘Panama Papers.’ The criminal proceedings were launched on characteristics of Article 310 of the Criminal Code (Participation of a state official in entrepreneurial activities, which is punished with imprisonment for the term of up to two years).
