Detained protesters set free
At around 11 pm on Sunday, Davit Nikoghosyan, 32, was approached by police officers near Liberty Square and taken to the Kentron department of the Armenian police. Davit was detained on suspicion of carrying a cutting and piercing instrument. Earlier on Monday, his relatives talked to A1+ Company and said they did not possess any information about Davit and did not know his whereabouts. Davit’s sister had gone to the Kentron police division to find out anything about him. Davit Nikoghosyan is at large now. According to our sources, Davit got into an argument with citizens who had left Baghramyan Avenue earlier on Sunday in order to continue the rally at Liberty Square. Davit told them that they had no right to return to the square. Davit was detained when he was leaving the square.
