Will Armenian rockers become rich?
"Armrockfest" competition gives opportunity to young and not well-known rock musicians to enter the international arena.
"The only music besides the classical which will allow the Armenians to enter the international scene is rock. We are trying to take out the rock musicians from the clubs since the rockers are world's richest musicians. We want Armenians to live a provided and decent life", - the organizer of "Armrockfest" competition and festival Varduhi Davtyan told "A1 +".
The contest - festival will be held in Armenia for the first time. Varduhi promises that the festival will be annual and all rock musicians of 18-32 years have the chance to participate in the annual contest from Armenia and abroad. "The applications will be accepted from March 15 to April 15, but I see the sparkle of enthusiasm in the last three days".
She once again reminds us that the rock is a form of protest and conditions young rock musicians' recent activity with a lot of complaining. "Since now we can not make war, we are making war through music".
