Vernissage to open in Alverdi
A vernissage (shopping market) will open in the Armenian city of Alaverdi which will exhibit paintings by different artists. Exhibitions will be held twice a week.
The idea belongs to the principal of art school Varuzhan Vardumyan. Three years ago, Vardumyan and his friends tried to open an exhibition in the area adjacent to the Stone Bridge however they were unable to do it because of some obstacles.
Varuzhan Vardumyan says the paintings are damaged during frequent transportation and they need a place to keep them.
