Number of crimes decreased in Syunik Marz
The number of crimes has decreased in Syunik Marz, according to the Syunik Regional Department of the RA Police.
Over 463 crimes were committed in the marz in 2010 against the 456 of 2009.
Cases of drug abuse and illicit trafficking also reduced totaling 49 as compared with 66 similar cases of the previous year.
In 2010, there were 29 cases of illicit trafficking of small arms and ammunition in the region.
