Among participants were Congressman Harry Ackerman, representatives of New York state and city councils Mark Veprin, Daniel Hallora and David Veprin who conveyed their warm wishes to the attendees. Armenians presented their works at a fair organized during the opening ceremony.
The attendees tasted Armenian cuisine, including Armenian barbecue and more.
The attendees applauded the performances by New York's "Armenian Children" pop orchestra headed by soloist Ashot Logyan, "Aratsani" and "Armenian Dance" dance ensembles adjunct to the Holy Martyrs Church and individual performers.
