Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi's "Aida" opera will be premiered in Yerevan in fall and not in June as it was earlier announced.

"We are through with the rehearsals but we have some problems with costumes and decors," Harutyun Arzumanyan, a laureate of international competitions, told A1+.

If 100-120 costumes are required for an ordinary opera, at least 250 costumes are needed for Aida.

"All costumes must be extravagant and reflect the atmosphere of the Egyptian era," said the conductor.

The opera will be performed on three stages.
It's worth mentioning that famous opera director Mario Koradini and opera singer Hasmik Papyan perform Verdi's "Aida" supported by the Armenian Ministry of Culture and Italian Government.

Aida will be staged in Armenia after a 25-year interval.
