Armenian singer at French music award
Anna Kasyan, the rising star of European opera, might win the famous "Les Victoires de la Musique Classique 2010" award.
Les Victoires de la Musique Classique is the most prestigious French music award. Similar to the Grammy Awards in the USA, it takes place annually and is awarded to the most deserving artists in various categories within pop, jazz and classical music.
This is the first time in history of the awards that an Armenian candidate is nominated for this most important classical music event in France in the category "Discovery of the Year - Lyric Artist".
Anna Kasyan is the winner of numerous international competitions, including the Queen Elisabeth (Brussels, 2008), Strasbourg Musical Festival (2009) and many more. Anna Kasyan's victory in "Les Victoires 2010" depends entirely on the results of internet voting.
