Six first formers
Alaverdi's secondary school N10 has 59 schoolchildren six of which are first formers.
Teacher Gohar Davtyan says she devotes more time to each pupil.
On the other hand, Mrs. Davtyan notes that a class must have at least 30 pupils to stir up interest and competition among children.
The number of pupils also affects the school's administrative works as schools are financed according to the number of pupils.
School Principal Seda Nalbandyan says that they have to pay teachers' salaries and cannot spend money on renovation or other works.
