Exhibition to launch at the NA
The opening of the photo exhibition entitled "Wo/Men in Politics" took place at the Green Hall of the National Assembly with the support of the NA standing committee on science, education, culture, sports and youth issues.
The "Wo/Men in Politics" exhibition is a part of the two-year program implemented by the British Council with funding from the British Embassy in Yerevan. The aim of the program is to increase the role of women in politics and the level of cooperation with men.
The unique display of 51 photos presents episodes of the life of renowned women and tries to make people recognize the important role of cooperation between men and women in the political arena.
The photos of the internationally known women were received from the "Reuters" agency's video library. The shots of Armenian women political figures were taken by the camera of the "Photolur" news agency.
The exhibition will officially launch on March 28-31 at the RA National Assembly. It will then move to the exhibition hall of the "Moscow" cinema and different regions of Armenia.
