FOOTBALL IS NOW A SUBJECT
Support A1+!Starting February, students will learn about football in school. Out of the 450 schools included in the program, 50 are from the Lori Marz and only half of the 42 schools of the Alaverdi region have been selected.
According to senior expert of the department of education of the Marz council Emil Aybekyan, the conditions of the gyms were taken into account when selecting the schools. A seminar-discussion will take place on February 6-7 in the #24 school of Vanadzor and the principals and physical education teachers of 50 schools will be present. During the seminar, they will get a chance to take a deeper look at the issues concerning football instruction.
The schools included in the curriculum will be provided with necessary gym equipment, while the subject will be mandatory for the rest of the schools starting next academic year. During the seminar, teachers will receive guides for instruction.
