THEY HAD THEIR SHARE IN THE COMMUNITY
Support A1+!The list of honorable citizens of the city Gavar was added by 3 ones. The 3 newly formed initiative groups aroused the issue of favoring them as honorable citizens of the town which was accepted unanimously by the members of the Gavar councillor. Those citizens were Hrant Hakobyan, the founder and the first rector of the Gavar University and the current chairman of the University council, Vazgen Martirosyan, the head of the Gavar agricultural college and renowned lawyer of the RA Eghishe Amirkhanyan.
Their merits, accomplishments and deeds were presented during the councillor session. According to mayor of the city Gurgen Martirosyan each of the above mentioned candidates had his share in the community development. The deeds of such people must be made public so as to serve a perfect example for others. Eghishe Amirkhanyan claims that he did his work devotedly and the title of an honorable citizen was a surprise to him. According to the lawyer it is very essential to appreciate the deeds of others in the course of time. The certificates of honorable citizens will be handed in close future during the ceremony of their glorification.
