The deconstruction of the Gyumri Shirak hotel has been ceased for more than a year. According to the Shirak municipality urban development administration head Albert Margaryan, no money is allotted for that purpose by the 2006 budget, but possibly next year there will be other sources of finance.

The project has already been fulfilled. The investigations of the specialists have shown that the present construction does not correspond to the necessary standards so it will be deconstructed wholly. Until then the building becomes more and more dangerous both for the residents and for passers-by, “Tsayg” TV Company informs.
