“FOREIGN” COLLECTION WILL REMAIN
Support A1+!The works of Marcos Grigoryan, Armenian-American artist, have been exhibited in the Museum of Literature and Art after Eghishe Charents for 15 years and will go on hampering the activities of the Museum for undetermined period. The director of the Museum Henrik Bakhchinyan told the correspondent of “A1+” that the collection occupied much space and organizing other exhibitions was impossible.
“Since there is no other place to keep the collection, they are kept in the Museum. Currently the Ministry is looking for appropriate territories for the works, however, at the present moment they have not find anything”, said Gayane Durgaryan, press secretary of the RA Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs.
The director of the Museum told us that it was high time to free the territory, since the promised 3 years lasted for 15 years.
