GURGEN MARGARYAN WAS MURDERED FOR BEING AN ARMENIAN

Politics

The preliminary investigation for murder case of the Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan brutally murdered by an Azeri officer in Budapest is not over yet. Most probably, it will end in 2-3 weeks. Representative of victim’s assignee, advocate Nazeli Vardanyan, who has recently returned from Hungary, informed journalists.

She will also right the Armenian officer Hayk Makuchyan, who fortunately avoided the reprisals of the same Azeri officer the same day.

According to advocate Tigran Janoyan, Hayk’s door was locked or else he would face the same fate.

Azeri people try to represent the reason for murder of the Armenian officer as personal while motive for it was that Margaryan was an Armenian, the advocates are sure.

Azeri officer Ramil Safarov will be accused under N 116.2 article of Hungary Criminal Code of forethought and brutal murder. Either 10-15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment is set for such crimes.

It was proved that Ramil Safarov had bought the murder tool, the axe, 2 weeks before the accident. According to Tigran Janoyan, the axe couldn’t be a “souvenir” as Azeri people insist since it was 65 centimeters long.

Advocates say the legal proceedings over Margaryan’s murder case will be held in Budapest. But it is not clear where the murderer will bear the punishment.

Besides Nazeli Vardanyan, Hungarian advocate Gabriella Gaspar rights the assignees of Gurgen Margaryan in Budapest.
