Possible cooperation with "Lufthansa Group" is discussed
Sergey Avetisyan, head of the General Department of Civil Aviation at the Government of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Ashot Smbatyan, RA Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and Vahram Sayadyan, head of Department of Airworthiness of the General Deparment of Civil Aviation (GDCA), met Roland Schultz, General Director on Eastern Europe and CIS of "Lufthansa Group" and Dmitry Zaicev, Deputy Chairman of Eastern Europe and CIS Affairs of the "Lufthansa Technics" on September 15, in Hamburg, Germany. In the course of the meeting Sergey Avetisyan presented the indicators registered in the Armenian Civil Aviation, the current dynamics and spoke about the prospects of the possible cooperation with the German company. Dmitry Zaytsev, in his turn, presented the activities carried out by "Lufthansa Technics" company, including the production capacities of the company in foreign countries. Issues related to the possibility of expanding the activity of the company in the Republic of Armenia were also discussed during the meeting. At the end of the meeting the parties also discussed the process of further operations. GDCA reports.
