Ani Zakharyan convicted (video)
Today Ani Zakharyan, President of New Political Culture Party, has been convicted to two years’ suspended sentence. Arshak Vardanyan, Judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts, found her guilty in giving instructions for breaking the window of the police car last year on July 19. Ani Zakharyan isn’t satisfied with the decision. She is going to apply to the ECHR if the issue isn’t solved in inner courts. “In case of applying to the ECHR I will demand compensation of large pecuniary damage,” said Ani Zakharyan. To remind, the prosecutor demanded to recognize Ani Zakharyan guilty and convict her to 4 years’ suspended sentence.
