Armenia is moving towards totalitarianism, said political expert, founder of Modus Vivendi Center Ara Papyan. He states that even the international reports can prove it. “In the upcoming 4-5 years we will not have elections. On the one hand it is even better as the society will be less tense, on the other hand it is bad that the society doesn’t have a lever to use its fundamental constitutional right- that’s to govern the country.” According to his observation, as of now not people but 50-100 families govern the country and their number will be reduced in the future, “Some of them will be withdrawn from the business and political field. It is obvious, when we were involved in elections, our neighbors were busy with establishment of the state.”
