OSKANYAN TO LEAVE TO GEORGIA
On June 27-28 RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan will leave for Georgia on official duty. During the visit Mr. Oskanyan will meet the President of the country, the Foreign Minister and the President of the Parliament.
PRIME MINISTER WILL LEAVE FOR FRANCE
On June 26 RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan took a short vacation. Andranik Margaryan will spend his one-week vacation in France in order to undergo a prophylactic medical examination.
CATHOLICOS VISITED THE HISTORICAL ISLAND OF THE SEA OF MARMARA
During the visit to Turkey Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II paid a visit to the island Heypel together with Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I and Patriarch of Armenians of Constantinople Archbishop Mesrop Mutafyan. They visited the Greek Orthodox church of Holy Trinity and the famous theological seminary.

AMENDMENTS TO THE ELECTORAL CODE ARE NOT ENOUGH FOR DEMOCRACY
NA deputy Speaker Tigran Torosyan met with Hayke Renate Paychi, German Ambassador to Armenia. During the meeting Tigran Torosyan attached great significance to the improvement of political atmosphere in Armenia and noted that the amendments to the electoral code are not enough for holding elections by democratic criteria. He found the hostility of political powers towards each other inadmissible and focused on their rivalry.

According to the decree of Robert Kocharyan Sergo Eritsyan was appointed the councilor of the RA President. According to another decree of the President Ara Ayvazyan was dismissed from the post of the RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Chile and Eastern Republic of Uruguay and Vladimir Karmirshalyan, RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Argentina was appointed instead.
