VIK DARCHINYAN IS EAGER TO FOUND A WRESTLING SCHOOL
Support A1+!Today President Robert Kocharian received Vakhtang Darchinyan, Australian resident, the IBF wrestling international federation 5-time champion and the IBO wrestling international organization 4-time champion and his first coach Vazgen Badalyan.
Vakhtang Darchinyan is the first Armenian sportsman who got the title of the professional wrestling champion. Though the famous wrestler presents Australia in his meetings each time Ara Gevorgyan’s music is performed and the Armenian flag is raised at the beginning of the meetings.
The President wished Vik Darchinyan further achievements and welcomed the victory of the Armenian sportsman in the professional wrestling arena. In his words each success is an encouraging stimulus for others.
Vakhtang Darchinyan spoke of his future plans and meetings. He said that he intends to found a wrestling club in Vanadzor and his aim is to preserve the traditions of the Armenian wrestling school and to continue the further achievements of the Armenian wrestlers.
