Susi Kentikian loses to Carino Moreno: Promoter says they will file protest
Germany-based Armenian professional boxer Susi Kentikian has suffered her second straight loss at the Burg-Waechter Castello, in Düsseldorf, Germany. The former unified flyweight champion lost to Carina Moreno in a bout for the vacant WBA Female Flyweight Title. The judges scored the fight 96-94 twice for Moreno and 97-93 for Kentikian.
After the bout, Kentikian's promoter and ex-WBA Super Champion Felix Sturm said: "There has to be a rematch. We will file a protest with the WBA against the scoring; the fight should be turned into a no-contest. We will not accept a loss, Susi clearly won!" he said.
