Serzh Sargsyan bids farewell to Raul de Luzenberger
Serzh Sargsyan had a farewell meeting with the Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Raul de Luzenberger.
The Armenian leader hailed Raul de Luzenberger's productive activity in Armenia, saying it contributed to the dynamic development of Armenia's relations and cooperation with the European Union.
By a presidential decree, Raul de Luzenberger was awarded with Mkhitar Gosh Medal for his significant contribution to the reinforcement and development of cooperation between Armenia and the European Union. Serzh Sargsyan presented him this state award, and expressed hope that the Ambassador would continue to be a friend of Armenia.
In his turn, Ambassador de Luzenberger thanked for the continuous support, cooperation, and appreciation of his activities throughout his tenure. He noted that considerable changes had been registered in Armenia over the past years.
Raul de Luzenberger wished success in the implementation of reforms, which, he said, would further reinforce the relations between Armenia and the EU.
