Yuri Khachaturov also charged with March 1 case
On July 26, 2018, CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov was charged under the RA Criminal Code, on the basis of a sufficient number of evidence obtained during the preliminary investigation on the criminal case in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia on March 1, 2008, Article 300.1, Paragraph 1, for the fact that he overthrew the constitutional order of the Republic of Armenia with prior agreement with other persons. The investigator filed a motion to the Yerevan City Court of First Instance for choosing a detention as a preventive measure against Yuri Khachaturov. Notification: a person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime, is considered innocent until his/her guilt is proved by a court judgement that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code
