Kersti Kaljulaid: Freedom is not for approaching the EU (video)
Estonia supports the Eastern Partnership, said Estonia's President Kersti Kaljulaid in Brussels. At present, Estonia is chairing the European Union. Mrs. Kaljulaid said that their goals concerning the Eastern Partnership are far-reaching. "We should not let the bus start without our neighbors," said the President. Ukrainian journalist wanted to take advice for his country, on the way of its integration to Europe. "It concerns not only you but all other countries. You should develop democracy, economic freedom, freedom of media and speech," said the President of Estonia. According to her, that all was not only a way of approaching the EU, but that was how countries developed.
