Edmon Marukyan to top the list of Yelk alliance
The Yelk (Way Out) political alliance comprising the Civil Contract, Bright Armenia and Hanrapetutyun (Republic) parties has published its list of candidates in the April 2 parliamentary elections. Thirty-nine members of the opposition bloc, i.e. 13 members from each political party, elected their candidates in the April 2 vote. Delegates of the Bright Armenia party voted for Aram Sargsyan (Chairman of the Hanrapetutyun party), delegates of the Hanrapetutyun and Civil Contract parties voted for Edmon Marukyan of the Bright Armenia party. Thus, the first three candidates of the alliance are Edmon Marukyan, Aram Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan.
