Serzh Sargsyan sends letter of condolences to Uzbek people
On September 3, Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the leadership and people of Uzbekistan in connection with the death of President Islam Karimov. Emphasizing Kamirov’s role in the development of the countyry’s statehood, Serzh Sargsyan expressed confidence that the Uzbek people will be able to overcome those hard times with their special endurance and energy and united firmly for the future prosperity and welfare of the Republic of Uzbekistan. "I share the grief and pain of the loss with the people of Uzbekistan, Karimov's family and relatives and convey my condolences and words of sympathy to all of you,” Serzh Sargsyan said in the letter.
