A number of vehicles of Rusarm-Oil Ltd are stranded in the Bagratashen border checkpoint loaded with 46 tons of diesel fuel. Talking to A1+, Anastas Sedrakyan, a representative of the company, said the checkpoint officials want to send back the vehicles. The company is importing diesel fuel from Krasnodar. The vehicles have been standing at the Bagratashen checkpoint since May 1. “They say they have the results of laboratory testing but they have not taken any sample from us. Nobody has the right to take samples of the goods of the common Customs Union. Why didn’t they inform us earlier? They waited until fines and penalties were imposed on us,” he added. Mr. Sedrakyan says his company is suffering great losses. “This is total anarchy. Our drivers were asked whether they did not know that there is a monopoly in the field, why they agreed to import the diesel fuel to Armenia.”
