Azeri forces shoot retreating soldiers
14.59 According to our information the combat efficiency of Azerbaijani military units has fallen so much that even hired mercenaries with many years of experience cannot help [them], Armenian Defense Ministry Spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said. At present, Azerbaijan is using the same tactic which it applied in 1994: death squads are shooting retreating troops, he said. So great is the number of volunteers that the NKR Army is now accepting the most experienced and sophisticated ones,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan said. 13.01 “Unable to break through the Armenian defense line, Azerbaijani subdivisions tried to use heavy equipment, including TOS-1 rocket launchers and military drones,” Mr Hovhannisyan has said. He added that Armenian troops destroyed both the rocket launcher and the unmanned aerial vehicle.
