People's Artist of the USSR Armen Dzhigarkhanyan remains in hospital where he was taken on March 5 with a suspected heart attack. Doctors assess his condition as moderately severe. The actor has been transferred from the intensive care unit to a general ward, RIA Novosti reports. Versia.ru says that Dzhigarkhanyan was to be discharged from hospital on March 5 but was placed in the intensive care unit because of his critical condition. He will stay in hospital until March 14. The 80-year-old doctor is believed to have had a heart attack, but the diagnosis is not final. His wife refuted the information saying Dzhigarkhanyan was undergoing a course of maintenance therapy.
