Vladimir Putin considered it a shame that Russia is not the first in making investments to the economy of their strategic ally Armenia. During the meeting of RA President Robert Kocharyan and RF President Vladimir Putin in Kremlin Putin said that he expects increase in investments of Russian companies in the economy of Armenia.

«Before the discussion of the amendments to the Electoral Code the NA political powers had agreed not to refer to the formation of electoral committees and the ratio between proportional and majority systems», said member of the Republican Party Samvel Nikoyan in «Mirror» club. He blamed the opposition for not keeping their promise.

Head of the Republican Party faction Galust Sahakyan thinks that this time the NA will adopt the RA draft law on «Alienation of property for state and public needs». The draft has been turned down three times. Galust Sahakyan thinks that it was not thanks to the opposition that the draft was rejected; according to him, the draft has in fact been adopted, simply quorum was not secured.

Today, Viktor Dallakyan’s proposal to pass on to 100-percent proportional system was not discussed. Viktor Dallakyan doesn’t blame NA Speaker Tigran Torosyan on this score for not putting the suggestion into the voting during the four-day session.

The OSCE Minsk group co-chairs have made a joint statement which characterizes the Paris meeting of the Armenian and Azeri Foreign Ministers as “a constructive meeting in an atmosphere of frankness”.
