OPPOSITION CAME TO YERABLUR
Support A1+!Early in the morning, at 11:00 a.m. RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan and other officials came to Yerablur to pay a tribute of respect to the memory of Vazgen Sargsyan. By the way, Robert Kocharyan did not come but sent a wreath.
The opposition wing came to Yerablur directly from the Pantheon. In included leader of the party “Republic” Aram Sargsyan, leader of the People’s party Stepan Demirchyan, leader of the National Democratic Union Vazgen Manoukyan, leader of the Armenian Pan-national Movement Ararat Zourabyan, NA deputies Viktor Dallakyan, Arshak Sadoyan and others.
Aram Sargsyan mentioned that each unrevealed case speaks about the instability of the country. “But I can’t compare the October 27 trial to other trials; I just want to say that the court system and the authorities lost the trust of the people after that trial”, he mentioned.
Vazgen Sargsyan’s mother, Mrs. Greta, tried not to look for guilty individuals but kept repeating that the authorities knew everything beforehand; there had been alarms, and the National Security Service was supposed to investigate the matter, but nothing was done. “I’m sure that the criminals had insiders among the authorities. They could not have passed through so many people unnoticed. How did they turn up in the session hall with weapons if even the journalists are not allowed to go in without documents? This was Genocide for us, like the one in 1915. But the latter was carried out by the Turks; those people are worse than the Turks”, Mrs. Greta said.
