Support A1+!The widow of the National Hero Rima Demirchyan told A1+ that Karen Demirchyan's bronze statue will be placed at the sport-concert complex named after him.
The statue of the National Hero has not found its place in Yerevan.
According to Mrs. Demirchyan, the decision made in 2000 remained only on the paper. Though the place was already decided to be the adjacent park on Mashtots Avenue, where a symbolic monument is still standing.
The idea of installing a statue on the territory of the complex is the idea of Yerevan's architect Arthur Meschian.
