Mheryan’s murderer identified?
The father of the murdered police chief Gevorg Mheryan yesterday told "Haykakan Zhamanak" Daily that he had found the person who killed his son. The murderer has been punished for another crime.
According to "A1+"'s reliable sources, the preliminary investigative body has already interrogated the person whom Gevorg Mheryan's father, Petros Mheryan referred to and has demanded the case related to him. Mheryan's father had expressed his doubts to the preliminary investigative body in December 2011.
According to "A1+"'s source, the version of Mheryan's father has turned into a topic for investigation, and the person whom he indicated is already in the focus of the preliminary investigative body.
We remind that the case is in the proceedings of the chief investigative department of the RA Police. During the consultation held before the New Year, RA Police Chief Vova Gasparyan ahd assigned to bring a new sweep for the case investigation.
We also remind that the Special Investigative Service was leading the investigation in 2009, but in 2010 the RA Police chief investigative department continued to investigate the case at the request of Mheryan's father.
